Garcia Family

One of the greatest honors as photographer, is when a current client passes on my name to their family & friends. Nothing gives me pleasure the way referrals do. I was so pleased when the Garcia family called me & asked me to take their holiday photos, after being referred by one of my first & often clients!

A breathtaking day in the park, with orange floating to the ground, reds bursting with sunlight & greens kissing the trees. Add the Garcia family & what a perfect photo session it was!

Their two adorable & sweet cheeks kiddos had so much fun, it made it hard to capture them. But I think it's better anyways to have photos of the kids smiling natural & just having fun. After all, that is what a happy beautiful life is all about.

Thank you so much Garcia family for allowing me to take your family photos! I enjoyed getting to know your family & plotting to steal your fashion sense Tiffany! All my love~Jenn

Mino Family

As a proud parent of two kids who enjoy the Silver Dollar BMX track, I donated a Family Portrait Session during their fundraiser dinner this year. It's always a wonder; 'Who will bid on my photo session?' 'Will someone actually bid on my session?' 'Will I have to bid on my own auction if someone doesn't bid on it?' Ha! So I was thrilled to learn the Mino Family won the photo package!

What a fun & beautiful family the Mino Family are. Two adorable kids, a perfect fall backdrop & a fun afternoon!

Thank you so much Mino family! It was great meeting you four. I had a great time laughing & talking shop with you. We'll be seeing you at the track 'Mouse'! All my love, Jenn

As a mother of two kids myself, I never bribe other kids with candy. Just my own. So instead I 'celebrate' with the kids on the last photo with a funny face picture. Works better then candy every time! Now if that would only work on my own...

Raby Family

This year I fell in love with the colors of fall. Actually every year I fall in love with those burnt oranges & crisp yellows, but this year I got to share the love.

The Raby family are not only neighbors, but have become friends of ours over the years. Their adorable kids spend many hours outside with ours, and watching the little ones grow up together is such a joy.

So I was honored when the Raby's asked me to take their family holiday photos. Capturing this beautiful & super fun family, while playing in the fall leaves was a great pleasure.

Thank you Zach & Sarah for allowing me to take your family photos this fall. I enjoyed my time with your great family & next time I'll let you treat me to a burger & shake too! All my love~Jenn

Stephanie & Robert

Rain on a wedding day is believed to be Good Luck. It restores & strengthens the unity of a husband and wife. Good thing it rained on Stephanie & Robert's wedding day. Not that they need luck. They have each other. They have Love.

Tucked away in the small town of Red Bluff, CA the rain softly fell to the earth, onto those celebrating in the marriage of this fun couple. Originally planning for a beautiful outdoor wedding, Stephanie quickly reorganized her year long plans to have their wedding indoors. After all, it's not about where Rob & Stephanie got married, but what the meaning for these two was, as they said 'I Do'.

With the wind & cold blowing outside, Rob & Stephanie danced the night away under a canopy of lights. Surrounded by their 200 closest family & friends, Love filled the room. It's easy to watch Rob & Stephanie and instantly see the fun they have together. Their Love for one another. Their Love for those in their life.

Rain on a wedding day is a great thing. Love keeps your heart warm & laughter keeps your spirit full. Stephanie & Rob~Thank you for allowing me to be your wedding photographer. It was an amazing day & one I'll never forget! Every time it rains, may it rain with Love. All my love~Jenn

Caitlin & Ryan Engagement

A little rain doesn't hurt any body. In fact, sometimes it's more fun playing in the rain then hiding from it!

Caitlin & Ryan came all the way to Chico from San Jose, for their engagement session. A little rain did not deter this high energy & full of laughter couple! If anything it made it more fun for all of us!

Ryan & Caitlin, it was a pleasure dancing & laughing in the rain with you two. I'm honored to be your wedding photographer for your September 17th wedding. Now that we got the rain out of the way....I'm sure it will be a picture perfect day, for such a picture perfect couple. All my Love~Jenn

Love when I find a clue that another photographer was recently here....I can't take the credit for the writing on the wall, but I couldn't pass it up either!

Jenea & Carl

Family. That is what Jenea & Carl are all about. Their family. Perfect little family with their 3 adorable children. Their families coming together to celebrate their breathtaking wedding. Their friends who are treated as a part of their family. Isn't that what a beautiful and full life is all about? Family.

Jenea and Carl picked an amazing location to combine their families into one. The Green Valley Country Club in Vacaville, CA. It housed the perfect backdrop for their vows. With lush greens, an old historic building and breathtaking views; Carl & Jenea shared their love, their joys & their tears with 100 of their closest family and friends. With every little detail planned a year in advance, red rose petals & bouquets were placed everywhere. Red hot candies were one of 30 different candies offered at the delicious candy table. Red roses topped the most amazing (and delicious) wedding cake I've ever seen! But to top of the color red, Jenea arrived in her father's beautiful red '57 Chevy.

After all isn't Love the color of Red? And this wonderful family is full of love for one another as well as everyone in their lives. Carl & Jenea, every time I enjoy some red hots, I will be thinking of the two of you. Thank you for allowing me to not only capture your beautiful day, but making me a part of your wonderful family. All my love ~Jenn

Shane & Erika

If you looked in the dictionary and found the word beautiful, you would see Erika & Shane. Yes they both are gorgous, but they also have the most loving souls. These two are not only just beautiful, but perfect. Perfect for each other. Beautiful together. So it was no surprise that October 2, 2010 was just that. Beautifully Perfect.

Every now and then I get a Bride who wants her whole day captured & asks me to spend 12 hours with them on their wedding day doing just that. And what better place then to spend that entire day then at the Canyon Oaks Country Club in Chico. This venue is Amazing. Their outdoors ceremony took place in front of the cutest gazebo, just next to the greens. With 150 of their closest friends & families celebrating their love and union of their families, Shane said 'I Do' with the promise of allowing Erika to come home from shopping and not look at the bill. While Erika's vow of "I Do" promised to let Shane watch sports uninterrupted. That is true love.

A quick trip away from the ceremony spot, allowed us some unique photos right on the greens. Where Mr & Mrs Burreson enjoyed some alone time, while Nicole Roberts, who graciously offered to be my 2nd shooter for the day, and I captured their beautiful essence. Seriously Beautiful.

Up in the Reception venue, the room lit by a breathtaking chandelier, guest dined, danced & celebrated late into the night. Slipping into a second gown, Erika and Shane, with wedding party in tow, headed to downtown Chico to their favorite hangout. The Wild Horse Salon. Not only did they dance the whole evening, but these two actually rode the bull. Yes. I got pictures.

Shane & Erika, I simply adore the two of you. Thank you for allowing me the great honor of spending your entire wedding day with you, capturing the laughter, tears & boot stomping fun. But for also coming into my life as new friends. I wish you all the happiness & joy in the world, and know that your marriage will always be Beautifully Perfect. All my love ~Jenn

Ian & Melissa

Crisp blue skies, glass smooth lake and a beautiful couple saying 'I do'. That's what I found in Tahoe. Ok, I didn't 'find' it, I was invited to capture Ian & Melissa's wedding day, in stunning South Lake Tahoe.

What better location then one of nature's most delicious places in this region to celebrate their union. Of course it started when Ian proposed on the dock leading to the great blue lake, so it was only natural for these two lovers to see each other for the first time on that same spot. A stroll down the beach led to a picture perfect setting for an outdoor ceremony. Where family & friends from all over cried & laugh at the heartfelt honesty written in each other's vows.

An intimate and relaxed vibe filled the venue, as guest shared stories of Melissa & Ian falling in love at Lowe's, kissing on Dave's porch & raising ruckus as kids. With every tear of joy & happiness, there was laughter to celebrate these two special bond.

Ian & Melissa, it was such an honor for Ross and I to be apart of your beautiful day. May your marriage be as perfect & wonderful as September 24th was. All my love~Jenn

Uhmmmm, Mrs Davis? You are absolutely stunning!!!
love, Love, LOVE when bride & groom's decide to see each before the ceremony. It's not only exciting & romantic, but it allows breathtaking photos that you just don't get otherwise. Thank you Mr & Mrs Davis for the perfect backdrop!
Who would have thought Mr Ian had the moves of a GQ model? Of course everyone knows about his evil laughter eyebrows...but that's a whole other story!
Love time with the wedding party! Thanks to all above for putting up with my creative chaos, you are all so much fun!
Have to share: The top photo was shot by my amazing husband Ross, who is learning to put up with me as his boss & taking chances to capture such beautiful photos.

Hello Class of 2011!!

We had a great time visiting unique locations around Chico to showcase Erika's kickin style & beautiful smile. This girl knows how to put outfits together, so much so I had to capture her little details that just made her look perfect.

Thanks Erika for bringing your entourage with you. I had a fantastic time getting to know you & photographing your beautiful spirit. Enjoy your senior year of high school, because like my Dad always said, it's the last fun year of your whole life. Kidding. He did say that. A lot. Seriously, have fun, study hard, cheer with a smile, stay away from boys & have a blast!! All my YHS love ~Jenn

Jason & Christine

Have you ever met a couple and could just feel their love for one another?
Their passion? Their hopes & dreams?
Meet Christine and Jason.
They choose a uniquely breathtaking location to share that love with their
closest family and friends.
Deep in the back woods, at a private home where gravel trails lead you down to a peaceful pond,
is where they would promise that earth-moving love to each other.
You couldn't help but laugh at their relaxed, easy going way of life.
You proudly let the tears roll down your cheeks as they promised a beautiful life together.
Champagne bubbled over as their
two generous families combined into one and hugs were shared by all.
Their quiet getaway down another path, led to a tree swing,
where Jason pushed is new wife to symbolize their fresh and exciting new beginnings.
Nothing better then a live band to dance the summer night away,
as all ages danced, laughed, cried & kissed one another.

It was my great honor to be welcomed into this couple's amazing day,
as well into the hearts of their loving & truly generous family.

Jason & Christine, witnessing your love & devotion to one another was indeed one of the
most magical moments of my career.
With all my love, tears & kisses. Jenn
